Jane McGinnes

Jane, who moved to the US from England, teaches Drama in Sacramento, California. Before becoming a teacher, she worked in the UK as an actor, touring schools with educational plays. She also performed in several original theatre pieces at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A highlight of Jane’s acting career was spending two years touring Europe, the Middle East, and Japan, playing Ralph in an all-female version of Lord of the Flies and then Lady Macduff and Witch Three in a production of Macbeth. Jane has a BA in Performing Arts, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Drama in Education, and recently completed an MA in creative writing. Influence(rs) is her first published play.
