The late Larry Damico was an English teacher who, along with teaching, spent many years directing for schools, communities, churches, and summer camps. His experiences included founding and directing a popular program called Stages, which created theater experiences for children in those hard-to-reach places of northern Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. “The Stable Story” is one of a few liturgical pieces he has written which take a lighter look at Biblical stories, maybe even pushing the envelope a bit with some fun and quirky character portrayals.
