Product reviews for Beets

Watching "Beets" made for a quite enjoyable afternoon at the theater. The show has clever bits of humor and fascinating nuggets of history, which are presented subtly. The characters are well-rounded and seem true-to-life. I was quite pleasantly surprised by this well-written story inspired by real life. A lovely piece of theater.

The director is to be commended for choosing the readers as you could visualize the character-- whether it was sitting on the porch talking with the neighbor or discussing the local issue -- POW working beets.  As they were exiting, the audience gave rave reviews of an excellent performance.  Many were sad because they wanted it to be longer.
