"We decided to do a children's play because we wanted to bring in a larger crowd for our spring play, which in the past few years hadn't been well attended. We toured our play to our elementary school on one day and then did two performances for the community on a Saturday. Since the show is short, we created some children's activities for afterward. We had three stations: Maleficent's freeze game (like red light/green light); Aurora's birthday party where they played pin the wings on the fairy and had face painting; and then a coloring station of images from the play. Our actors led each station and the kids loved it! Our show was a success." -- C.M., Director, Milford High School, Bridgeville, DE

"I was able to have a full cast in 7th and 8th grade, so that both grades could perform one night apiece and the ones that were not performing were additional cast members. The students enjoyed performing and the local newspaper did a feature on us the week before our play!" --T.A., Director, Starmount High School, Boonville, NC
