Murder for Dummies
"We recently finished our run of 'Murder For Dummies' at ACCHS. It had an excellent reception from our audiences. I heard many comments on what a fun show it was, and how it really kept them engaged clear to the end! Young children and adults of all ages were in our audiences and all really seemed to enjoy the show. My students in the cast and crew had a great time bringing the characters to life...Jack and Sis were particular favorites of theirs. The small cameos allowed some of my actors to be double cast, growing their acting skills by creating different personae for each role. Those cameos also allowed some actors who didn't have time to commit to a larger part to still be involved. We enjoyed 'Murder For Dummies' thoroughly!" -- N.W., Atchison County Community JSH, Effingham, KS

Murder for Dummies
"The cast really loved 'Murder for Dummies.'  I think my favorite part was watching the student who played Jobeth's reaction to the second half of the play the first time she saw it." -- C.M., Pekin Community HS, Normal, IL

"The audience loved the humorous interactions. There are great characters who bring the laughs, and our cast really brought out the fun characters. This was a great play to allow new drama students a chance to test their acting chops." -- S.F., Croswell-Lexington High School Drama, MI

Murder for Dummies
"My audience loved the production. There are a lot of different characters which gave credence to the saying, `There are no small roles.'" -- J.M., Carey School, ID

Murder for Dummies
"There are a variety of parts-large and small. So you can accommodate those that like to participate and those that just want to get their feet wet. There wasn't a lot of physical comedy, more intellectual jokes...for an older audience. They thought if was funny." -- S.S., Corsica-Stickney School, Stickney, SD

Zany, fast-paced comedy
Well-written script with high student interest. Great vehicle for teaching the importance of comedic timing.
