"We had a great cast and the audience was amazed at the talent.  The cast brought the characters to life on stage and gave them voice to tell their story. I fell in love with the scripts when I first read an excerpt and knew that I wanted to present the stories to the public and to the students.  Saltillo Elementary School (SES) is a Whole Schools Initiative (Arts Integrated) school, so every class in the school became involved with the Titanic study.  It has been a wonderful experience for all the students.  All cast members in both productions were asked to do additional research on their character (this helped with character development and also gave them an opportunity to learn the full story of each character.)
