Plays For Teen Actors - Vol I

Play #: 1854
Pages: 52 pgs
Cast: Flexible cast

Enjoy these three short plays in your middle school or junior high classroom. All three plays have roles which are mostly flexible in gender to include as many students as possible. The plays have interesting plots, easy settings, and short, easy-to-learn lines. Your student actors will have fun developing and portraying the varied characters. Young actors will enjoy performing them for their classmates and parents, too! Plays include:

"The State vs. Wolf" - 7 m, 5 w and jury. The trial of the big bad wolf for breaking and entering Granny Hood's house, imprisoning her in a closet, impersonating her, and threatening her granddaughter Little Red. 30 to 40 minutes.

"Cinderella" - 6 m, 9 w. A beautiful woman and her two beautiful daughters get ready for the ball being put on by the parents of the most eligible bachelor in Fortune 500. But he has already met the stepsister and sends a car for her. 45 minutes to an hour.

"Heidi of the Hills" - 3 m, 6 w. The story of Heidi is still well loved but this one is moved to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. About 60 -90 minutes (with use of songs).
