If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise
"Our audiences LOVED the show. The live response was great and afterward it was not uncommon to hear, This was my favorite that you guys have done." Great script! Luckily we had a seasoned actor for the role of Doc (since the show hinges on a strong performance by him) but surrounding him with a strong supporting cast only makes this show better. Would recommend this production wholeheartedly." -- B.S., Incharacter School of Ministry, Marianna, FL

If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise
"The cast had fun doing the characters.  We could not stop laughing during the rehearsals. The audience loved it. Many people came back the second night to see it again." -- C.J., Director, Hixson (TN) First Baptist Church

If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise
"The playwright was familiar to us as we had produced Pat Cook's 'Every Crook & Nanny' with good results. Our first read through of this play made it clear that this was another fun play. 'If the Good Lord's Willing...' is a very family fun production and lent itself to the fundraising we were undertaking."  -- T.M., Director, Sydenham St. United Church, Brantford, Ontario

If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise
"This is a great production. Pat Cook is an amazing playwright and we just love his writing.  Every night the audience loved the story line and laughed a lot. The most interesting response came from a first-time theater goer. He said for years my grandad always used the phrase `If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise.' When I say the advertisement for this show he said he just had to see it. He must have liked it, said he would be back." -- Old Fort Players, Fort Madison, IA

If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise
"The audience LOVED it! They laughed until they cried. It was such a fun play to produce! The kids had a blast and even though I directed and knew all the jokes, I laughed every time! We are an international school so it was great to be able to print out the scripts immediately. It was a great experience and I hope to use Eldridge again in the future!" -- Alliance Academy International, Quito, Ecuador
